Established first in 1980 in Cyprus, Dragon Kyrenia became one of the first restaurants to serve dishes from China’s most coveted Cantonese, Szechuan and Indochine cuisines in the area.
Later in November 1987, after a yearlong menu planning, manufacturing and importing custom made decoration items all the way from Taipei, Dragon Istanbul was opened inside the then newly built convention center at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus.
Staying true to its family-oriented past and traditions, Dragon Istanbul’s interior was designed in Taipei by Cheung Yiu Fung, who was a beloved member of the Dragon family.
The timeless interior can still be seen today when you walk through the double doors of Dragon Istanbul. In the winter, Dragon Istanbul serves in its original indoor space inside the Convention Center of Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus; and in the summer, the team moves the restaurant into its outdoor space at the hotel, so the guests can enjoy their meals along with a unique view of Istanbul.
With its deep-rooted history, the award winning Dragon Istanbul continues to be a part of the city’s culinary world with the same principles and passion to this day.
